Did you know? Jerry Falwell has two radio programs in Lynchburg, Virgina broadcasting two shows each Sunday? He has stated on air that Muhammad (saw) is a terrorist and that Islam is a terrorist religion.

Our Holy Last Messenger (saw) has said,"You should have at least one weapon that your enemy has."

We do not have, in Detroit or elsewhere, enough radio stations or other Muslim information and news media to respond to such slander that help fuel hate towards Islam and hate crimes that occur in the U.S. and in prisons like those in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Ex-solider sentenced to 5 life terms

PADUCAH, Ky.- A former soldier received five consecutive life sentences Friday for his role in the rape and murder of an Iraqi teenager and the slaying of three of her relatives.
"What the defendant did was horrifying and inexcusable," U.S. District Judge Thomas Russell said in sentencing Steven Green, 24, of Midland, Texas. "The Court believes any lesser sentence would be insufficient."
In May a civilian jury in western Kentucky convicted Green of raping Abeer Qassim al-Janabi on March12,2006, conspiracy and multiple counts of murder.
Green shot and killed the teens mother, father and sister, then became the third soldier to rape her before shooting her in the face. Her body was set on fire at the rural home outside Mahmoudiya, Iraq, about 20 miles south of Baghdad.
The panel couldn't reach a unanimous decision about whether Green should get a death sentence. That made Green's sentence life in prison. Barring a successful appeal or presidential pardon, Green will not be eligible for release from prison.

In such a dangerous and explosive climate towards Muslims and Islam, it becomes an obligatory duty for Muslims to give Dawah in all the best available ways in order to counteract such slander and in order to defend the honor of our Nabi Muhammad (saw) and Islam.

Broadcast angers Muslims

Southfield-Muslims and interfaith leaders in Metro Detroit are asking a local radio station owner to discontinue broadcasts in which, they say, a Coptic priest has repeatedly defamed the Prophet Muhammad over the past year.
IN an Arabic-language broadcast Wednesday on WNZK 680/690 AM, the Rev. Zakariah Boutros said the Muslim prophet Muhammad had engaged in necrophilia and gay sex, according to the Council on American Islamic Relations.
Boutro has previously come under fire from area Muslims, who say he disparages Islam. The controversial, American-based priest can be heard on purchased time slots on radio stations internationally. His words have stirred controversy in Egypt and Great Britain, and are embraced by a number of blogger and Web sites that criticize Islam.

The unbelievers are allies (friends and protectors of each other), unless you do this befriend and protect each other there will be fitnah and oppression." Holy Quran 8:13

One Meccan woman used to viciously slander our blessed Nabi (saw) with her foul poetry. The Sahabah Hassan Thabit (ra) composed beautiful poetry defending Nabi Muhammad (saw). The Holy Last Messenger (saw) was very pleased with him (ra) and told him to continue to recite. He (ra) became Nabi Muhammad's (saw) personal poet.

Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good enjoining Al-Maruf (monotheism and all that Islam orders us to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (all that is evil and what Islam prohibits). Holy Quran 3:104

In Dar-Amanna (a nation of religious freedom) it becomes an obligatory duty for each Muslim citizen to defend Islam from slander and abuse using our freedom of speech and other forms of expression.

When we do not do this, we become the worst of mankind. In an authentic Hadith our Holy Last Messenger (saw) has said that when you stop enjoining good and forbidding evil, you will raise your hands in du'a before Allah and He will not answer your prayers.

As a matter of fact, we start resembling the passive Jews of World War II who silently watched each other go to concentration camps. Today, they are called detention centers.
